Classroom...after.

My classroom is really coming along!
#1- I got a SmartBoard and Projector!
#2 - Kids and I created an awesome collage of advertisements depicting societal beauty standards for our study of the Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison
#3- I re-arranged some furniture and realized I have an amazing view of the Williamsburg Bank Building from my classroom window!
#4-I have switched from a PC at school to a Mac, that is working amazingly well!

This is my "Teacher Cabinet" complete with magnetic label maker and timer!
The iMac I use to do yearbook layouts and to run the SmartBoard...
A Piece of Artwork from one of my former students:
The view from the back of the classroom...
The view OF the back of the classroom...
Inspired by Beowulf, a student created this poster for me!
Another angle...check out my awesome book cover posters!
The student supply center, where they can get paper, pencils, staples, hand sanitizer, and tissues. Without interrupting me and pissing me off...

Handout Station for kids who missed the previous day's work, notes.
My classroom library...Donations always welcome!
Subtle guidance to improve their writing....

Our collage.

The Student Hand in System. Each class period has an assigned color. (Labeled of course) Turn in on the top, I return it on the bottom. Nobody is allowed to hand me a piece of paper. It goes in the turn in bin. If it's not in the bin, you don't get credit.

Williamsburg Bank Building and some Park Slope Foliage.
My work station!
